How to Make It

Step 1

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion; cover and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add water and remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer until thick (about 20 minutes). Pour into a bowl; cool.

Step 2

Note: Apple juice may be substituted for Marsala, if desired.
