Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 cup uncooked couscous
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

  1. Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan. Stir in couscous; cover. Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes. Stir in parsley, butter, garlic, lemon juice, kosher salt, and pepper.
