Use your favorite fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 cups plain couscous
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon chopped rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon chopped thyme
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

How to Make It

  1. Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil in a medium saucepan. Stir in couscous. Cover; remove from heat. Let stand 10 minutes. Uncover and stir in parsley and next 5 ingredients. Season to taste with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
