- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 shallot, minced
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- Process all ingredients in a food processor until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides. Transfer butter to center of a piece of plastic wrap; shape into 1 1/2-inch-thick log. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
