Preparation

  1. HAWAIIAN WEDDING CAKE
  2. So moist, and as Hawaiian as your creative juices will allow.

  3. 2 cups all purpose flour
  4. 2 cups sugar
  5. 2 eggs
  6. 2 tsp baking soda
  7. 1 cup chopped nuts
  8. 1 cup coconut
  9. 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice

  10. Mix all ingredients and pour into greased 13 x 9” pan.
  11. Bake at 350 F degrees for 40-45 minutes. Cool.


  12. 1 (8 oz.) pkg cream cheese
  13. 1 1/2 cup powdered (icing) sugar
  14. 1/2 cup butter
  15. 2 tsp vanilla

  16. Blend well. Frost cooled cake. Garnish with chopped nuts, coconut or chopped fruit, if desired.

  17. Commentary suggestions:
  18. 1 tsp coconut extract in the cake
  19. 1/2 tsp coconut extract in the frosting.
