Hamburger Steak with Onion Gravy

    My husband and I really liked this entree and are going to add it to our rotation. After cooking the gravy and tasting it, I thought it was good but needed a little something extra. I added about 1/4 cup of red wine to the gravy. It turned out great.

    We really enjoyed this recipe. I was very flavorful and the chive mashed potatoes were excellent as well.

    This was very easy for a weeknight meal. My husband ate the leftovers the next day and thought it was delicious!

    Wasn't so impressed with this. I followed directions except for adding sliced mushrooms with the onions. I used lean beef, but it came out with a very greasy taste. The sauce didn't have as much flavor as I'd hoped.

    made this last night, turned out great. both my husband and I enjoyed it. Chive mashed potatoes compliment it perfectly.

    Good meal that is easy to prepare. I did serve it with garlic mashed potatoes. I added sauted sliced mushrooms in before the flour. Really good. Didn't bother with the green onions at the end. A little fresh thyme in the sauce would've made the dish. Sauted spinach completed the meal. Will add to our regular rotation.

    This was a very tasty dish, but would just have been "hamburger" without the sauce. I used beef bouillon and added mushrooms to the sauce. My husband loved it and wanted me to cook it for family when we go visit them for 2 weeks. Definitely a keeper.

    So easy and tastes so fancy!!! Served over farro instead of potatoes....add some mushrooms when you add the onions... you won't be sorry!!!
