- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1/3 cup green peppers
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp salt 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cup swiss cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups diced ham
- Melt butter saute peppers and onion. Stir in flour and salt. Add macaroni, milk, then ham. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- When macaroni is cooked add cheese and sour cream to melt
- DO NOT boil after last 2 ingredients!!
