  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/3 cup green peppers
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 3 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cup swiss cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups diced ham


  1. Melt butter saute peppers and onion. Stir in flour and salt. Add macaroni, milk, then ham. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. When macaroni is cooked add cheese and sour cream to melt

  3. DO NOT boil after last 2 ingredients!!
