Grilled Turkey and Ham Sandwiches

The tomato soup was a nice change (but, sorry, still have childhood preference for Campbell's made with nonfat milk!). Instead of spraying the skillet, I lightly spray the sandwiches just before putting them in. Seems to use less oil and the spray's just applied to the bread instead of the whole pan.

Yummy in no time! I skipped the ham because I think pork is gross, but otherwise stuck to the recipe. The soup was super easy and delish too, plus if you are single like me you get plenty of leftovers. And easy on the budget for us broke people!

Made according to the recipe, except did not put in the ham, and used a little butter and olive oil instead of cooking spray. Served with the butternut squash soup in the sept. 2009 magazine. Quite delicious.

Do you want to make it even more yummy? For this recipe I prefer Iberico ham, you might find it also as jamon iberico. I know it is expensive but the trick is to buy the foreleg called shoulder or paleta rather than the ham (backleg). Paleta or shoulder is much cheaper and for sandwiches, pittas, rolls and “hand food” a wonderful alternative. This sandwich was DELICIOUS. I made it with sourdough bread and it was so quick, so easy, and so yummy! This is definitely a keeper. I made it last night and I already want another one! I feel like this sandwich is good for anytime/all the time!

This is a great sandwich for a quick meal. I didn't make the soup, my family is also a big campbells tomato soup fan, so I made that to go along with the sandwich. I can see myself making this as an after school snack for my boys, they loved it.

Delicious!!!!! my husband & I loved it ! I substituted pepper Jaçk for cheddar. I used jalapeño in the soup we like spice food it was delicious.

Good for a quick meal. I used pepper jack cheese served with carrot & celery sticks.
