Grilled Tomato-and-Cheese offers an Italian twist to the classic tomato sandwich.

Ingredients

  • Provolone cheese slices
  • Tomato slices
  • Italian bread slices
  • Mayonnaise
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

How to Make It

  1. Layer cheese slices and tomato slices between 2 Italian bread slices. Stir together equal parts mayonnaise and freshly grated Parmesan cheese; spread on outside of sandwich. Cook in a hot skillet over medium heat 3 minutes on each side or until golden.
