Grilled Steak with Fresh Mango Salsa

    Subbed cayenne pepper for black, rubbed the beef then lightly spritzed with oil. Cheated and bought garlic naan rather than plain -- the grilled bread was terrific with the steak & mango. Served green salad with sweet vinaigrette after the main course. Very good.

    I left the rub on for about 24h, the flavor was still subtle, it was great. I used white nectarine instead of mango because my grocer was out of mangoes, it was a great sub.

    The rub on the flank steak really tenderized the meat. This was one of the most tender flank steak recipes I've made. My family raved. The kids liked the garam masala in the rub. We made the recipe as is, but let the rub stay on the steak longer than suggested.

    This was an amazing dish.....although I made it with top sirloin since they were out of flank steak! The salsa was outstanding and would be good on just about anything. Will definitely make again-soon!
