Grilled Smoked Salmon Panini with Red Onion Ribbons

    I thought this was just disgusting. For starters, the onion sogged into the bread when you pressed it in the panini. The cheese just kind of clumps together and does not melt like a you would want in a panini. I do like capers but they did not save this sandwich. I tried to just eat the crust of the bread because I really felt the rest was inedible.

    This is my favorite panini recipe. I use cream cheese instead of goat cheese and skip the capers. It's so fresh and the onions are better the second day. Absolutely delicious.

    I did not like this at all and would not make it again, the flavors of the sandwich did not go together at all.
