Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons dried lavender flowers
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, halved
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 8 (4-ounce) lamb loin chops, trimmed
Preparation
- Place salt and lavender in a spice or coffee grinder; process until ground.
- Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic; cook 2 minutes or until golden. Remove garlic from pan; discard. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon salt mixture and pepper over chops. Add chops to pan; cook 3 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Serve with additional lavender salt, if desired.
