Grilled Green Onions with Spicy Asparagus and Hoisin

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons rice wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon lower-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sriracha
  • 1 bunch green onions, trimmed
  • 8 ounces thin asparagus spears
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt

How to Make It

  1. Combine hoisin sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, and ­Sriracha in a bowl. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Toss green onions and asparagus spears with olive oil; sprinkle with pepper and salt. Cook 2 minutes on each side. Brush with hoisin mixture during last 30 seconds of grilling.
