This gets 5 stars for 3 reasons: it was easy, it was fast and it was delicious. I agree, the marinade stuck to the shrimp and gave it a really fresh green speckled look so presentation was nice. The FLAVOR was great. Don't skip the jalapeno. It adds a wonderful background heat to the dish, not too overpowering. Wonderful. I made this in winter on the stovetop grill pan but I'm sure it could be even better on a real grill. YUM!!! I also served this with Southern Living's Sesame Green Beans and Coconot Lime rice from Trader Joes. The rice was gross but the green beans went great with this!

sooo delicious!!! we love garlic & ginger so I actually went heavy on those. Didn't really worry about trying to get all the marinade separated, we just dumped it from the zip-bag right into a grill pan. I think had we skewered the shrimp the texture would have been a bit different but I'm sure the flavor was the same. Served it with a Ginger-scallion rice & steamed green veggie (rice is from CL also but not on the site, I'll post it on Allrecipes.com, name is Cookintigger.) would def. serve this to company!!

This was a hit with our family, including my 4-year old. The marinade was easy and so flavorful! I grilled these on a stovetop grill pan and served with rice cooked with garlic, chicken broth, and lime juice. I will definitely cook more shrimp next time--they disappeared quickly!

I'd agree with a prior review -- it should be called garlic-cilantro shrimp rather than ginger-lime shrimp. Even so, I like garlic and cilantro. I bumped up the ginger and left the other ingredients alone. Next time I'll bump up the ginger again (3 Tbs), reduce the garlic and reduce the cilantro. I don't think you can increase the lime much without making it into cerviche. Perhaps lime zest instead of juice. It's best grilled until the edges of the shrimp start to char. Enjoy!

This is so good and so easy! Shrimp were extremely flavorful and delicious. The jalapeno adds flavor but not heat. Even my three-year-old liked it, and she thinks tomato sauce is too spicy! We served the shrimp over jasmine rice with a sesame asian slaw on the side. We will definitely make this again soon!

Great tasting easy recipe. I don't have a food processor, so I chopped the ingredients which worked out well. I doubled the oils like other users and used the juice of an entire lime. I also added red pepper flakes to spice it up. I cooked it in a skillet for a few minutes and it was great!

Nice flavor profile. Easy recipe. I didn't bother with the food processor. Just chopped everything very fine. The marinade was a little on the dry side so I doubled the liquids (oils and lime juice). I didn't have the hot pepper on hand but I'll make sure I add it next time as shrimp lacks a little zing without it.

This was good & easy! My fiancé who typically dislikes shrimp said he actually liked this one. I served it over Wegmans shaved brussel sprout recipe, (also delicious!). Although i wasn't blown away by this recipe I would probably make it again.
