I once won a cooking contest at our boat dock with this recipe. I didn't skewer them, just grilled on a flat grill basket.

I am learning to like asparagus and this was an excellent way to learn to love it. Easy to make, defintitely try to use the most tender part. I would make this again. I really don't see why you need to make it into a raft just use a grill pan.

Fabulously good. Nice and crunchy on the outside and delious on the inside. Kids loved it. Added some fresh lemon. Will do again.

I made this recipe even though my wife does not like asparagus. Although, she had more than I have ever seen her eat before. This was very delicious and a definite repeater.

Makes a great recipe for the grill. I've even used in indoors with grilled chicken and it turned out wonderful. Very nice, flavorful recipe. Will make again.

I did not skewer these, but rather cut them up, tossed them in the sauce and grilled in a basket. I served them mixed with brown rice. It was ok but I've certainly had better asparagus simply roasted with Wegmans basting oil and salt & pepper, so I would probably not make this again.

I use an indoor grill and the rafting did make them easier to turn. I liked the soy-based sauce, but will omit the salt next time. Great way to prepare asparagus.
