3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
How to Make It
Snap off tough ends of asparagus. Combine all ingredients except cooking spray in a large zip-top plastic bag; seal and marinate for 30 minutes. Remove asparagus from bag, and discard marinade. I've been making asparagus using this recipe for years. It never gets old! And, as other reviewers said, it can be used as a go-to marinade for all sorts of things. I've used it for chicken breasts as well. This is a good one to memorize, so you're never without it.
This recipe is awesome. We had this as a side for the Cedar Planked Honey Lime Salmon. It cooked easily side-by-side on the grill with the salmon and everything was ready quickly and within a few minutes of each other. Will definitely make this again
This was sooooooo good that even my 5 year old that doesn't like vegetables loved it. Really easy and tastes great! Will be making again for sure. Served it was shrimp skewers and "green' rice (rice with spinach and garlic).
