Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sherry vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
- Dash of salt
- 4 cups torn Bibb lettuce
- 1 cup torn curly endive
- 1 cup loosely packed fresh watercress
- 6 (1-ounce) slices lean turkey ham, cut into thin strips
- 2 medium-size ripe pears (about 3/4 pound), cored and thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped walnuts, toasted
- Swiss Cheese Toast
Preparation
- Combine first 5 ingredients in a small bowl, stirring well. Cover and chill 1 hour.
- Arrange lettuce, endive, and watercress evenly on 4 plates. Arrange turkey ham and pear slices over greens. Drizzle 3 tablespoons yogurt mixture over each, and sprinkle with walnuts. Serve with Swiss Cheese Toast.
