I made this granita with two green tea teabags and two green chai tea teabags to give it some spice and it was wonderful - especially on a hot summer day!

This is the perfect recipe for a hot summer day. What makes it even better is that it's actually healthy for you. As you all know, green tea is anti-cancer. I'm not sure everyone knows this so I'll go ahead and share this information: You mustn't add milk to green tea or mint. One must only go so far with substitutes for ingredients, unless they really know their stuff. That's probably why one of the reviewers may have not liked it as much:)Try it next time exactly the way it is and you may be surprised at how much you enjoy it!

I made it with mint green tea, added some milk left out the ginger and lemon and served it with a drizzle of honey. my family didn't care for it but they're traditionally close minded about their food.I thought it wasn't to bad an interesting exchange for the normal hot tea great for broken ac days.
