Green Peas With Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons grated onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 1 (8-ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 (10-ounce) package frozen sweet green peas
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How to Make It

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add onion, garlic, and mushrooms, and sauté 3 to 4 minutes or until liquid evaporates. Stir in peas and remaining ingredients; cover and cook 4 minutes. Stir and cook, uncovered, 4 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
