Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth

Preparation

  1. 1. Cook beans in boiling water 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add walnuts and next 3 ingredients; cook 2 minutes or until nuts are toasted. Add broth; cook 2 minutes or until broth is reduced by half. Stir in green beans, tossing well to coat.
