  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 3 (14 1/2-ounce) cans whole tomatoes, undrained and quartered
  • 3 (16-ounce) cans cut green beans, drained
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground orégano
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried whole basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How to Make It

  1. Sauté onion in butter in a large saucepan over low heat until tender. Add remaining ingredients; simmer 15 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
