Ingredients
- 3/4 cup(s) Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 4 cup(s) Chicken, cooked & cubed
- 1 can(s) Cream of Broccoli Soup
- 1 can(s) Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 2/3 cup(s) French-Fried Onions
- 1.75 cup(s) Green Beans
- 2/3 cup(s) Green Pepper, chopped
- 6 ounce(s) Long Grain & Wild Rice Mix
- 1 (4 oz) can(s) Mushrooms, drained
- 1 envelope(s) Onion Soup Mix
- 2/3 cup(s) Onion, chopped
Preparation
- 1. preheat oven to 350, grease two 1.5 quart casseroles
- 2. prepare wild rice according to pkg directions - stir in chicken, beans, soups, mushrooms, onion, green pepper and soup mix - combine well
- 3. spoon mixture evenly into two casseroles - sprinkle with cheese
- 4. cover and freeze one casserole for up to three months - cover and bake second casserole for 25-30 minutes - uncover and sprinkle with french-fried onions - bake 5 minutes longer
- To use frozen casserole: completely thaw in fridge - remove from fridge 30 minutes before baking - cover and bake 60-65 minutes at 350 - uncover and sprinkle with french-fried onions - bake five minutes longer
