Great Peach Cobbler

I double the batter ingred

  • 5c sliced can peaches 3 lb drained
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 2TBS flour
  • 1TBS lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4tsp almond
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 2TBS butter
  • 1/2 c unsifted flour
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1/2tsp baking powder
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 2TBS butter softened
  • 1 egg


  1. Fillling
  2. In med bowl combine top 8 ingredents with 1/4 water or juice from peaches

  3. put into a 8 x 8 glass dish dot with butter

  4. Batter will be the next 6 ingred

  5. mix with wooden spoon and dot the batter over the peach mixtue

  6. REMEMBER double the ingred for batter

  7. Great warm with vanilla ice cream
