Yummy! This is great for the 3pm munchies. It has just the right amount of chocolate and the oatmeal makes you feel less guilty about eating it.

Made this today, and made a double batch right away. I added a little more chocolate chips, but don't know if I would again, as there seemed to be a lot of chips in it. It was exactly as I thought it would be--a good chocolate chip cookie. Will probably make it again, as it is fast and super easy.

As I love the flavor combination of toasted pecans, chocolate and oats I had high hopes for this recipe. Unfortunately they didn't live up to my expectations. The texture of these cookie wedges was soft and too moist whcih detracted from the taste. They were also bland. I increased the amount of chocolate chips as 2 talespoons was not nearly enough but even with the extra chocolate chips this recipe was a letdown. Won' make these again.

These simple, fast, yummy cookie wedges were a hit with my two boys. Had to leave out the nuts due to an allergy, but substituted with more chocolate chips. I may try the 1/2 all purpose, 1/2 whole wheat flour substitution as suggested by other reviewers next time. May also add some cinnamon to make them a little more interesting.

Couldn't use pecans due to nut allergies, but still came out delicious! Kids are happily eating their treats, and there's really very little guilt in this one. Next time, I may try it with half whole wheat flour or go for 100% whole wheat pastry flour and see what happens.

Made the 'cookie pie' as my 5yr old son calls it. Used eggs whites out of a carton and had to bake about 7 minutes longer. Kept checking the underside of the Pyrex pie plate for a complete brown color. Will need to substitute the pecans next time as son did not care for it, though everyone else enjoyed the cookie. Will include in the rotation of treats/dessert.

While these are a fancy name for oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, that doesn't take away from the fact that they're delicious. I did have to cook mine an extra 6 minutes before they were cooked completely, but that was no biggie. It's hard to believe it's a lightened-up recipe. Very, very good. I also made tonight; used 1/2 all purpose and 1/2 whole wheat flour and it turned out great, taste and texture were good.

Made these last night. The perfect sweet indulgence. Quick and easy. My DH and LO loved them

I loved these - super quick, easy to make and you probably have all the ingredients on hand! I did subsitute chopped walnuts for the pecans, which was delicious, included 1/4 cup of high quality chocolate chips and I had to bake for 3-5 minutes longer to get the edges browned. Otherwise, followed as directed. My only negative (which can be an easy fix) is that the cookies would not unlodge themselves from my pie pan even though I used copious amounts of cooking spray. Next time (and there will be a next time!) I will line the bottom of the plate with parchment paper to fix this small inconvenience. Absolutely a keeper and I'll be making again (probably soon); enjoy!

I made these tonight and they were delicious. I added extra toasted pecans (used 1/2 cup) and more chocolate chips. I cooked the cookies for 13 minutes as recommended, but used a metal pie pan. They were perfectly done - not too hard or too moist.

Really tasty and easy! I didn't weigh out the flour and just measured 1/2 cup but I think that it needed more. It was really gooey and wet going into the pan. I ended up having to cook it like 10-12 min more than the recipe called for. It turned out really tasty though a bit crispy which I actually really like. Next time (maybe tonight ;) I make it it I will measure out the flour to see if that makes a difference.

Made for my two grandsons today, they said it was not a keeper recipe, just ok. They would rather have chocolate chip recipe in the pie plate instead.

I agree, delicious and easy. Mine were a little crumbly though. They were the perfect texture. Any longer and they would've over cooked. Still delicious!

Sorry - it's just not my cup of tea. I used margarine instead of butter, and being in denver, i should have cooked it longer. All in all, not an amazing flavor.

This recipe is really good and makes a great base for personal changes. I substituted 3T ground flax and 1T water for the butter the first time I made it. Tasted good, but lacked something. Second time, I added 1/4t cinnamon and an extra 1/8t vanilla. The only thing I need now is someone to keep me from eating the entire recipe in one sitting! I plan to try it with mini chocolate chips or dried cranberries next time. Additionally, I made this with sliced almonds both times, as that is what I had on hand. Very tasty.

Decent. I don't think they compare to real cookies, but for a light treat this isn't bad. I'd suggest that 1/4 cup of chocolate chips is about right. I baked for 15 min.
