Grandma Gallo's Cream Sherry Cake
Yield: 1 (10-inch) cake
- 1 (18.25-ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1 (3.4-ounce) package vanilla instant pudding mix
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup cream sherry
- Powdered sugar
- Berries and Wine
- Beat cake mix and next 4 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer 2 minutes. Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
- Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack 10 minutes; remove from pan, and cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve with Berries and Wine.
