Stir sugar and softened butter together. Gradually add flour until mixing bowl sides are completely clean ... move dough to a clean dry surface and continue folding in flour until fully consumed.
Press dough into a greased cookie sheet (1/2" - 3/4" deep). Bake at 300 degF for 45-60 minutes.
