- 3 large eggs, separated
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
How to Make It
Combine egg yolks and next 6 ingredients, stirring well.
Beat egg whites at high speed with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form; fold into crumb mixture. Spoon into a greased and floured 9-inch pieplate.
Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve warm or cold with sweetened whipped cream, if desired.
