- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon tea leaves
- 1 quart boiling water
- Lemon slices
How to Make It
Place tea leaves in a 1-quart glass pitcher; slowly pour boiling water over tea leaves. Cover and steep 5 minutes.
Strain and discard tea leaves. Serve hot tea in individual cups with milk, sugar, and lemon slices.
Note: To prepare iced tea, let hot tea come to room temperature; chill. Serve chilled tea over crushed ice.
