I would like to make this for Christmas. Could anyone tell me what "gold dust" is and where do I buy it? This sounds so good and I think would be great as a gift.

I made this as part of my Christmas goody bag in 2008. The gold dust (found at cake decorating stores) is very expensive and has questionable health issues, so I omitted it. The cinnamon is a must. My friends LOVED this and clamored for the recipe. It will be part of my family's Christmas traditions from here on.

I made this as a surprise for my three girls and their friends, and they loved it. The gold dust makes it magic. Will make again for them on another (surprise) special occasion.

Ok so a few things, first his recipe is kind of a pain in the ass because it is so messy. I dont know how these people mixed all of these ingredients in one bowl. I mixed the dry ingredients and then spread them on a cookie sheet. DO NOT MELT THE CHOCOLATE IN THE MICROWAVE! It will be dry and will eventually burn! Melt it on the stove w a tbsp of water. I tried this recipe with milk choc and with white. Both were good, but I mean who loves white chocolate? Also the cinnamon is a nice touch but a tsp is too much. Trust me, half the cinnamon. Overall very good tasting but a pain in the ass.

This popcorn was great! I made it for my kids special treat in thier lunch box and they loved it. It was very quick to put together. I left out the nuts since my kids do not like them. This will definetly be a keeper.
