Glazed Fried Apples

Yield 6 to 8 servings


  • 4 medium apples, unpeeled and cored
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

How to Make It

  1. Slice apples into 1/3-inch rings. Place apples and butter in a large skillet; cover and cook over medium heat 10 minutes or until apples are tender. Add sugar, and cook uncovered 10 minutes or until golden brown.
