Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar

Preparation

  1. Preheat broiler with oven rack 5 to 6 inches from heat. Cut bananas in half crosswise; cut lengthwise into 1/4-inch-thick slices, and place in a single layer on a lightly greased aluminum foil-lined baking sheet. Brush with melted butter; sprinkle with brown sugar. Broil 4 to 5 minutes or until bubbly and just beginning to brown. (Keep an eye on the bananas while broiling to make sure they don't overbrown.)
