How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°.

Step 2

Coat an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan with cooking spray. Line bottom of pan with wax paper; coat wax paper with cooking spray. Set aside.

Step 3

Combine brown sugar and next 4 ingredients; beat with a whisk until smooth.

Step 4

Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. Combine flour and next 6 ingredients in a medium bowl; stir with a whisk. Add figs; stir well. Make a well in center of flour mixture. Add egg mixture to flour mixture, stirring just until moist. Spoon batter into prepared pan.

Step 5

Bake at 350° for 48 to 50 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
