Use Ginger-Lime Syrup to sweeten a favorite cooler like our Cucumber-Ginger Limeade.
This recipe goes with Cucumber-Ginger Limeade
Yield: Makes 1 1/3 cups
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup peeled and coarsely chopped ginger
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lime zest (about 3 limes)
- 2 cups water
- Process sugar, ginger, and lime zest in a food processor 15 seconds. Transfer to a small saucepan, and stir in water. Cook over medium heat 10 minutes. Remove from heat, and let stand 10 minutes. Pour through a fine wire-mesh strainer, discarding solids.
