I cook a lot from Cooking Light, and this is one of my favorite recipes. Fast, very low calorie, flavorful, and lots of veggies. I highly recommend adding to your stock list of easy weeknight meals. Cut the romaine in 1/8" strips.

Once I was able to track down all of the ingredients for this recipe (miso paste, chili paste with garlic), it was easy and quick to make. I found the miso dressing a little bland, so I added a few teaspoons of soy sauce, and it really perked it up. The presentation of the dish on a plate is impressive and colorful. I would love to try this again with some seared Ahi tuna instead of steak.

I'd agree with the prior poster, I could not find miso paste, so I used miso soup mix and just mixed w/very little water to make a paste rather than a soup. Recipe was very easy to make and tasted great - family loved it! This would be a great summer potluck dish. Not sure how in the picture the soba noodles were so brown - we just added soy sauce, that did the trick.

This recipe is amazing! I easily found everything I needed at the grocery store and was easy to prepare. Definitely worth trying!

My family enjoyed this meal. I served it with the soba noodles. I found all of the ingredents and it was an easy meal to make.
