F. Scott Fitzgerald appreciated the gin rickey for its featured spirit--which he thought to be less detectable on his breath--and it was the chosen cocktail of his bon vivant characters (The Great Gatsby), as well.
1/4 cup (2 oz.) gin
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
Club soda (between 2 and 4 Tbsp.)
