How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat a large griddle to medium heat.

Step 2

Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl stirring with a whisk.

Step 3

Combine milk, butter, eggs and vanilla in a medium bowl stirring with a whisk. Add milk mixture to flour mixture; whisk until just combined.

Step 4

Ladle 1/4 cup pancake batter onto griddle; sprinkle batter with with crumbled Pop Tarts. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until bubbles in the center of the pancakes begin to burst; flip pancake and cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown. Repeat process with remaining batter. Serve with warm maple syrup.
