Melt Chocolate in Microwave.
Beat 4 Egg Whites with Electric Mixer until stiff. Set Aside.
In separate bowl beat butter and eggs yolks. Add melted chocolate, boiling water, and vanilla and beat until fluffy.
Fold chocolate mixture gently into egg whites until just combined.
In a 3 quart casserole or decorate bowl, layer cookies and chocolate mixture.
Start with a small layer of chocolate in bottom of dish, spread evenly. Place a layer of cookies in flat layer with cookies edge to edge. Add another layer of chocolate and spread over cookies filling in spaces between previous layer of cookies until have thin even smooth later over cookies. Repeat. Finish with layer of chocolate on top. Refrigerate covered overnight.
Serve by large spoonful in small serving bowl or glass.
Top with homemade whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
Optional: Could be made in individual serving dishes for a special occasion.
