Georgia Peach Buttercream Frosting

    I thought this frosting had great flavor, but it was very slippery. I frosted a 2 layer cake and the layers were sliding around like crazy. Then the frosting was slipping down the sides. I had a ton of leftover frosting. I think this frosting might be better for cupcakes

    Fresh peach puree makes all the difference. I plan on using this receipe with other fruits, season permitting. What a wonderful way to top off a quick box cake mix. Only thing I found was that it took about 4 fresh peaches instead of 1 in order to aquire 8oz's.

    I tried it looking for a peach tasting frosting and was not impressed. I used 2 large peaches and added extra sugar because it was so thin and it only tasted like powdered sugar. It also made way more than I planned on and now I'm not sure what to do with it. I won't make this again.
