One word: AWFUL. The spices of the salsa (I used mild, fresh, from the produce section) and the bloody mary spices just didn't jive. I ended up straining it, rinsing it, and trying to salvage the salsa itself. This is one of the rare times one of the recipes from this website just didn't work for me.

This a great starter recipe for a Mexican Shrimp Cocktail I added some bay shrimp avocado, garnish with a large shrimp, green olive stuffed with jalapeno, etc. What ever you like

The first time I prepared this was for a dinner party on a hot summer evening. It was extremely easy to prepare. Our guests LOVED IT. They all wanted the recipe! Since then, I have also experimented with the "bold" and "spicy" versions of different Bloody Mary mixes with good results. I have also tripled the recipe, added some cooked cocktail shrimp and served it for a Sunday brunch. Outstanding!
