Very flavorful, especially if you love fresh thyme. Added some low-sodium beef broth to the meat to make the patties a bit juicier. Everything worked really well together -- a good burger.

Interesting flavors, but needs more of everything (thyme, garlic, salt and pepper). I really enjoyed the tomato, but it needs a little salt, too.

When I grill burgers, I usually want just a straight-forward burger with nothing more in the meat than salt and pepper. But I tried this to appeal to a picky eater who I thought might say the grass-fed beef tasted strange. Not only did she gobble it up and not complain, but also I think I may have found an easy way to make a more distinctive burger that will still go with many toppings.

These were good, but not one of the best burgers that Cooking Light has turned out. I couldn't taste the garlic and my husband couldn't taste the thyme...

Will make again for sure. All the flavors are great together and it spruces up the plain old burger. Will make again for bbq's for sure.

This was a flavorful burger that I would make again any night of the week. The garlic outdid the thyme flavor but I also substituted 1 tsp dried thyme for the fresh so that might have effected it. The grilled tomato adds a smoky sweetness that I would try for other burgers as well. Husband loved it. Served with oven fries, makes a great meal.

Made these in the frying pan and they were still super yummy... Got a thumbs up from my picky eater teenager! (served them with the oven fries--recipe is also on this site)

Good, solid burger recipe - can definitely taste the thyme in these, but they are quick and easy to make. Used an indoor cast iron grill pan for the burgers and had to increase cook time to ~10 / side. I would consider adding smoked paprika to the recipe next time to get that "grill" flavor if cooking again during colder months and can't use the outdoor grill. Otherwise, good "fall back" recipe for indoor burgers; enjoy!
