Ingredients
- 12 garlic cloves
- Cooking spray
- 4 chicken drumsticks (about 1 pound), skinned
- 4 chicken thighs (about 1 1/2 pounds), skinned
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 3/4 teaspoon salt, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
- 1. Preheat oven to 425°.
- 2. Sprinkle garlic into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Arrange chicken over garlic; sprinkle onion, 1/2 teaspoon salt, oregano, thyme, and pepper over chicken. Cover and bake at 425° for 30 minutes.
- 3. Uncover chicken; bake 30 more minutes or until chicken is done. Remove chicken from dish, and add 1/4 teaspoon salt to drippings. Drizzle drippings over chicken.
