Garlic Pita Chips

HOWARD L. PUCKETT
Yield 4 dozen
Pita rounds, garlic powder, and cooking spray are all you need for these homemade pita chips.  This recipe yields 4 dozen chips from only 6 pita rounds, so the cost is considerably less than purchasing them ready-made.

Ingredients

  • 6 (6-inch) pitas
  • Butter-flavored cooking spray
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

How to Make It

  1. Preheat oven to 425°.

  2. Coat one side of each pita with cooking spray; sprinkle with garlic powder. Cut each pita into 8 wedges; arrange wedges in a single layer on baking sheets. Bake at 425° for 6 minutes or until golden.
