  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh tarragon
  • Finely shredded zest from 1 lemon


  1. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring often, until garlic is softened and butter foam subsides, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat, then stir in herbs and zest.
