2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
1 garlic clove, minced
4 ears shucked corn


Combine butter, basil, and garlic in a small bowl. Place corn into a large saucepan of boiling water; cook 4 minutes. Drain. Spoon 1 teaspoon butter mixture over each ear of corn.
