Ingredients

  • 1 (4-ounce) demi baguette, cut into 10 slices
  • 1 garlic clove, halved
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 large ripe avocado, peeled and mashed

How to Make It

  1. Preheat broiler to high.

  2. Reserve 2 bread slices for Dinner Broil remaining bread 30 seconds on each side or until toasted. Rub bread with cut sides of garlic. Combine tomato, vinegar, pepper, and salt; let stand 5 minutes. Spread avocado evenly over toast; top with tomato mixture.
