Excellent ganache and VERY easy to make! We did not use all of it on the chocolate cheesecake so we have leftovers to dip strawberries in later this week! Will definitely make again.
Ganache Topping
Ganache is a mixture of chocolate and whipping cream that's heated, cooled to lukewarm, and then poured over a cake like a glaze.
Yield: Makes 1 1/2 cups

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
- 1 (6-ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels (1 cup)
- 1 (6-ounce) package milk chocolate morsels (1 cup)
Preparation
- Bring cream to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat; quickly remove from heat, and stir in semisweet and milk chocolate morsels until melted and smooth. Let mixture cool (about 30 minutes) until slightly warm before pouring and spreading over cheesecake.
