Fudge Pie

This is SO rich and fudgy!! My husband and I loved it!! And, it is very easy to make! This is a definite keeper! TIP: I rather a smooth texture in the middle and nuts on top, so I poured the mix into the pie plate and then sprinkled pecans on top before baking.

This is an outstanding recipe. I even substituted half of the flour with white whole wheat flour and it was still wonderful.

My 12 year old son made this as part of our Thanksgiving meal. It was a big hit and he was proud of his baking skills.

After reading reviews, I must have done something very wrong. I followed the directions exactly as printed and my pie came our dry and hard and almost tasteless. Please someone tell me what I did wrong. I'm puzzled because it came out so different from other reviews. Help!!

I've been making this since it came out in 2001, and it is the best brownie-like dessert ever. Everyone loves this recipe. I have made it for an easy dessert and also for fancier dinners.

You could put this in a square baking dish and it would be brownies. They are good and I served them with ice cream. Thought the chocolate syrup was too much. Next time will put all the pecans in the mix. A definite repeat.
