Any unsweetened juice (such as apple or cherry) will work. We love a mix of dried plum, pear, and apple. Dried figs, apricots, and cherries would also be delicious.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups no-sugar-added cranberry juice
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 (3 x 1-inch) orange rind strips
1 (8-ounce) package mixed dried fruit, coarsely chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)
1 cinnamon stick
3 cups vanilla frozen Greek yogurt
1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted

Preparation

1. Bring juice, salt, orange rind, fruit, and cinnamon stick to a boil in a small saucepan. Reduce heat to low, and simmer 10 minutes. Cool slightly. Scoop 1/2 cup frozen yogurt into each of 6 bowls, and top each serving with about 1/4 cup fruit mixture and about 2 teaspoons toasted almonds. Serve immediately.
