Fruit-flavored Butters

Yield
Fruit-flavored butters are always a hit, and they're super easy to make. Enjoy these spreads any time of day, with breakfast breads or dinner rolls. If you're feeling decadent, stir in a few tablespoons of finely chopped dark chocolate with the butter and jam, and spread on a hot biscuit or a slice of grilled pound cake.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup any flavor jam or preserves

How to Make It

  1. Stir together softened butter and jam or preserves. Spoon into a pretty dish, and serve immediately, or cover and chill up to a week. (If chilled, let stand at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving.)
