Ingredients
- 1 can fruit cocktail including juice
- 2 eggs
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 1/4 t salt
- 2 c flour
- 2 t baking soda
- ICING:
- 1 stick butter
- 3/4 c canned evaporated milk
- 1 c sugar
- 1 t vanilla
Preparation
- Mix all ingredients together and pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle approx 1/2 c brown sugar and 1/2 c pecans over the batter. Bake at 350 for 40 min depending on you oven. . To prepare icing, combine butter, milk and sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook until thickened, this may take 15-20 minutes. Add vanilla. Pour icing over cake while it is still warm. Cool and store in the refriderator.
